psylliumhusk.com is an independent guide to psyllium husk: what the research supports, what it does not, and how to use it well, from daily fiber routines to gluten-free baking.
We are a small team of writers and researchers who are passionate about health and about translating complex studies into plain language. Our goal is simple: help you understand what the evidence actually says, so you can see the choices available to you and pick what fits your life.
Why This Site Exists
Psyllium husk is one of the most studied fiber supplements in existence, yet most of what is written about it either oversells the research or ignores it entirely. Weight loss claims get repeated without the trials behind them. Real, well-documented benefits get buried under vague wellness language.
We built this site to close that gap: one place where every claim is checked against the published literature and stated plainly, including when the honest answer is “the evidence is mixed.”
How We Work
Every health claim on this site is checked against published research, with a preference for independent meta-analyses of randomized controlled trials. We grade the evidence behind every health topic as Strong, Mixed, or Emerging, and the grade is displayed on the article. Where studies conflict, we present both sides. Where research is industry-funded, we say so.
On the kitchen side, every recipe is tested before it is published. If a ratio does not work, it does not go up.

A Note on What We Are Not
We are writers and researchers, not doctors or dietitians. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and it is not a substitute for guidance from a professional who knows your situation. Every health article includes a section on when to talk to a doctor, and we mean it.
